Greeting and Salutations all,

That was a bit grandiose but i enjoyed it. Did you? Anyway this page is about me. I am big into architecture and design. And I mean BIG. I have always enjoyed design and have been creative since birth. I still have an injury from when I was six. Apparently I thought I could use a knife as a cutting tool for one of my projects. I created stuff all the time from imaginary things like my own superhero teams to tangible things like board games. I have always enjoyed creating, creatives, and the created.

The biggest reason I chose to start this site is for my own personal outlet for all thing design and architecture. I have been a big fan of the built, designed, and renovated environment for some time now. I look at pictures of it, watch shows about it, purchase books about, and discuss it (sometimes even with people who couldn’t care less!)

Until then we will review and learn about design, architecture, and their many facets. The website name is quarters Magazine because I am a fan of architecture of the home and real estate. Also because on this site I want to review and educate myself and others about residential architecture.

Lastly I want to leave you with a quote.

“All architecture is shelter, all great architecture is the design of space that contains, cuddles, exalts, or stimulates the persons in that space.” –Philip Johnson
