I am a retired 74 year old Englishman married to a Turkish lady and living in Turkey for the past 20+ years. I have worked in 14 countries scattered throughout the Middle & Far East as well as North Africa. I started my working life as a Joiner/Shopfitter and later became an Advisor/Quality Control on interior finishes to several Palaces and a variety of 5 star hotels. I am very interested in writing and have had an e book "An Expats Experiences of Living in Turkey" published by Amazon Kindle. I have also had an article published in Expat Network, a UK expat magazine, plus several articles published in the online magazines of Escape From America, and Escape Artist and a few other expat organisation websites. I have just completed writing my lmy memoir, "Follow in the Tigermans Footsteps," which I am now trying to get published. Although a memoir it reads more like an adventure story covering 19 years of working in 15 countries spread through the Middle, Far East & North Africa. I am very interested in the environment and wildlife and have worked as a volunteer at animal rescue/rehabilitation centers in South Africa and Thailand. I am a member and supporter of Sea Shepherd, Greenpeace, IFAW and Care for the Wild from who I have adopted a Tiger for the past ten years.
