I was born and raised in the bay area, and I am a sports junky. Whatever sport is in season is what I'm into. Right now it's football, basketball, maybe a little hockey. Then once again in February it's time for pitchers and catchers to report. So many sports and not enough days in the year. I like the local teams the best, but know enough about all of the teams to impress even the die hard fan. You can like my facebook page DanThePunditSports or follow me on twitter @DanEaton386.

Brady is Blessed And Tebow is Distressed
Garth Brooks had it right when he sang "I thank God, for unanswered prayers" as Tim Tebow's went unanswered for the first time this season. The score was already out of hand, somewhat predictably, when it turned in to "Tebow Time" at Invesco field in Denver yesterday. Tim Tebow never…

Are Warriors Ready for Christmas Night Tip Off?
There is about ten shopping days left until people will celebrate December 25th. What I'll be celebrating is five NBA games that are taking place on Christmas Day. Especially watching my Golden State Warriors. After a whirlwind free agency period, that was brought upon because of a lockout, it has…

Golden State Of Mind Now That the NBA is Back
I'm not what you would call a huge fan of the NBA. I love my hometown team the Oakland Warriors, and once they have been eliminated from contention my interest begins to wane. I'll look at some playoffs here and there when a good matchup presents itself or an interesting…

Raiders Sleep With the Fishes After Miami Visit
The display put on today by the Oakland Raiders was enough to induce vomiting from any fan. Their play was lethargic, uninspiring, lame, and pathetic. It was as if they gave no effort at all. They really didn't even show up until there were only a few minutes left and…

Tebow Teases, Then Pleases Denver Faithful
Tim Tebow was up to his old tricks again on Sunday, and yet again his team came out on top. San Diego kicker Nick Novak missed a 53 yard field goal in overtime, and Denver's Matt Prater didn't miss on his opportunity which gave the Bronco's the win. Novak was…

Janikowski Kicks Raiders to Win Over Chicago
The Oakland Raiders roster is loaded with former number one picks. One of the most controversial of all of Al Davis' draft picks was the major difference maker in a Raider victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday 25-20. Sebastian Janikowski, the number 17 pick in the 2000 draft, kicked…

Dallas Cowboys Escape Washington With Win
It wasn't supposed to be that difficult for the Cowboys to win this game. They went into play a Washington team that was reeling and in the midst of a five game losing streak. Dallas almost gift wrapped a streak busting win for the Skins, but in the end prevailed…

Cal Bears Ease to Victory Over Austin Peay
The 24th ranked California Golden Bears took to the court last night trying to bring their season opening record to three wins and no losses. The game was effectively over within the first ten minutes, as the The Governors of Austin Peay could never get in a rhythm. Next week…

Texans Make it Look Easy In Tampa
It's not supposed to look this easy. The way the Houston Texans handled the Tampa Bay Bucs today, on the road, spoke volumes about what this team can achieve this year.Arian Foster led the way with 186 total yards scoring twice, the first on his second 78 yards reception of…
