I was born and raised in the bay area, and I am a sports junky. Whatever sport is in season is what I'm into. Right now it's football, basketball, maybe a little hockey. Then once again in February it's time for pitchers and catchers to report. So many sports and not enough days in the year. I like the local teams the best, but know enough about all of the teams to impress even the die hard fan. You can like my facebook page DanThePunditSports or follow me on twitter @DanEaton386.

Dallas Rolls In A Laugher Over Buffalo
This is what this Dallas Cowboy team should look like. The first thing is that Tony Romo is finally fully healthy and playing well. Secondly they also have a strong running game for the first time since Emmitt Smith left. Seems that way anyway. Thirdly Grunge Ryan has this defense…

Falcons Dominate Colts, Push Them Closer to Luck
The Atlanta Falcons joined in on what the rest of the NFL is doing these days, and that is whipping on the winless and Peytonless Indianapolis Colts. This time the deficit was only 24, but this one was over just as soon as it began. The Falcons dominated them in…

Houston Texans Run Down Hapless Browns
The Houston Texans employ one of the most fearful running back by committees in the league. Together yesterday the Texans ran the ball 37 times and 31 of those times it was run by Arian Foster or Ben Tate. There is no question who the starter is and who the…

Super Ending for Super Bowl Rematch
This game was eerily similar in the way that it ended, minus the helmet catch, that it almost seemed like you were watching a replay of the Super Bowl from 2007. Brady led the Patriots to a late touchdown to put them up 20-17 with only 1:36 remaining on the…

Cowboys Win Game But Lose Receiver
The Dallas Cowboys won a game they were supposed to win, and they didn't do it in any kind of grand fashion either. Tony Romo and company had no trouble moving the ball up and down the field. They had trouble finishing drives, and settledfor two field goals and a…

49er Machine Rolls Over Skins In DC
Unless your name is Jimmy Johnson, hiring a coach out of college just doesn't work at the pro level. Jim Harbaugh is starting to change minds around the league, and proving that a college coach can excel in the NFL. Harbaugh has built a machine in a very short amount…

Tim Tebow Enters Black Hole, Comes Out A Winner
Tim Tebow made his second trip to the Oakland Coliseum as the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos. Tebow didn't play badly that day, but he walked away a loser. Today he played much much better, brought home the bacon and delivered the team a victory. It wasn't really a…

Rice Breaks Through, Flacco Redeemed
This was all pretty new to Joe Flacco, the getting booed at home thing. In Flacco's short career he's never heard it quite like this, but that's not to say he didn't deserve it. After the stinker they all put up in the previous game, on Monday Night Football of…
