I was born and raised in the bay area, and I am a sports junky. Whatever sport is in season is what I'm into. Right now it's football, basketball, maybe a little hockey. Then once again in February it's time for pitchers and catchers to report. So many sports and not enough days in the year. I like the local teams the best, but know enough about all of the teams to impress even the die hard fan. You can like my facebook page DanThePunditSports or follow me on twitter @DanEaton386.

Denver Fans Tebowing But For All the Wrong Reasons
Tim Tebow took the Denver Broncos down the field and scored a touchdown on a 14 yards pass to Eric Decker. This time Tebow needed to start his comeback attempt about three quarters sooner. That touchdown made the final score 45-3 in favor of the Detroit Lions, but what most…

Rams Topple Saints Earn First Victory
The New Orleans Saints had a plan to run roughshod over the Rams in St. Louis on Sunday, but then something suddenly happened. The game started. Once the whistle blew it was all Rams, all day long. Perhaps they were inspired by their friends and neighbors, the Cardinals winning the…

Steelers Turn the Tables on Patriots
Only a few weeks ago the Pittsburgh Steelers were said to be "old, slow, and finished. Done" by some NFLanalysts. Nowafter taking down the New England Patriots 25-17 yesterday, they are sitting atop the AFC with a 6-2 record. It certainly doesn't look they are old, slow, or finished. They…

The Dream Team Finally Arrives, Cowboys Not Happy
The "All Hype Team" that defensive coordinator Rob Ryan referred to in the preseason is long gone. Replacing it is the "Dream Team" that Vince Young was crowing about during that same time. New additions like Jason Babin and Namdi Asomugha are finally making a difference and contributing. Namdi got…

Nothing Goes Right for Jackson Or the Raiders In Loss to Cheifs
For all of the gamesmanship and deceitful practices that Hue Jackson used this week to "confuse or discombulate" the Kansas City Chiefs, for all intents and purposes none of them worked. Not on iota, or even a smidgen of a bit.Not one thing worked out for the Raiders yesterday when…

Packers Beat Vikings to Remain Undefeated
The Christian Ponder era kicked off in Minnesota on Sunday, and while he didn't get the win, he certainly didn't embarrass himself either. Ponder should have been, and wasn't, any match for all world quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers had his typical day with over 300 passing yards to go along…

Cowboy Breaks Record, While St Louis Breaks Down
When Cowboys running back Felix Jones went down for the second time this season last week with a high ankle sprain, Cowboy fans were hoping for a quick return. Dallas' third round draft pick out of Oklahoma, DeMarco Murray didn't even start the game, but boy did he ever finish…

Tebow Works Late Magic Again In Florida
It was "Tebow Time" in south Florida again on Sunday. No, Tebow didn't jump out of a time machine to lead the Gators to a victory. He is a startingprofessional quarterback in the NFL now, and he's still doing what he did all thetime in college, winning. Why hasn't somebody…

Burress, Jets Top Chargers With Second Half Comeback
These are the kinds of days Plaxico Burress would dream about while incarcerated in federal prison for gun charges. A come from behind win was largely aided by three Burress touchdown catches, two of them coming in the second half. The Jets defense was its usual self, limiting the lethal…
