Hello, My name is Greg and I live right outside of Memphis, Tennessee. I have been a legal resident of the area for over forty year; although I spent twenty years in the military. I have been involved in wrestling, weightlifting, karate, basketball, swimming, and all of the other stuff most sports minded people do. I remember the first time I ran over five miles and my lungs did not feel like they were going to explode. I also remember starting up after a long layoff and barely being able to breathe. I have trained with novice and professional athletes and it felt great to compete when I knew I was in good shape. There’s nothing worse than losing because you ran out of gas. I have done that too. I have only been married for twenty four years (to the same person) and I have two children, a small dog, and three goldfish, so I know how it is an absolute-must to set time out for my workouts. It is great to go to the gym (when it’s not overcrowded) but is also great just to go outside and get on the bench. I started the strength training routines because it is something I enjoy and it is something I know about. I did over twenty years in the military and training was a part of live. The group I worked with would enter in the 5k or 10k an race each other. I felt good when Jeff tried to strike out on the last quarter mile of one race and I got him! I also remember doing Mountain Climbers on Parris Island and not knowing when we would stop. My biggest focus for creating the “Best Strength Training Routines” website is to provide a variety of training strategies so each person can select the one that best fits their goals, their time, and their lifestyle.
