Hagop (Street Articles Author)

Hi everybody, my name is Hagop and I am 18 years old with love for sports I’ve never seen before!

I might be young, but my love for sports is out of this world. Whether it is team sports such as basketball, soccer, and american football, or if it is individual sports such as tennis, golf, and weightlifting, my love for sports is like no other!

Since I was a child, my parents weren’t too motivated in putting me into sports due to their great longing for me to focus on education. This was not good news to me, because exercise is not the funnest thing. Running through the streets or working out alone was never enough motivation for me. COMPETITION IS MY LIFE!

What I did with this competition?

Being a rebellious character is not always a good thing. However, due to the fact that my parents never gave me time in sports, I was forced to do it behind their back. Whether it was me going like, “hey mom, I’m going to the library” while really going to the park to play basketball, or telling my parents that I’m going to a friends house to study but really going to their backyard basketball hoop, or which some of my rich friends, their outside tennis and volleyball courts haha.

This still did not satisfy my love for sports, I knew I had to do something else that would address my competitive attitude. So i knew I had to convince my parents to let me start being involved in sports. After providing them with lengthy research on the benefits of sports on a child’s life, they were convinced. That sounds like a simple process but that took months of struggle, begging, and straight A’ing in my school courses! I literally made a contract with them stating that if I don’t follow up with my school courses, I would not be able to play any sports.

It was in the 5th grade when i started joining these basketball, soccer, and football leagues. I mainly did it for the love, but also for the fitness. Who doesn’t want to look good? Thats how you attract the girls, right? Haha. Well, whatever the motivation was, i knew sports was the best for me. I used sports to play as a competitive aspect when it comes to my school work. I am not a professional athlete, but use my love for sports as a motivational factor.

I am currently going to enter my university with the major of Integrated Marketing-Business. I am trying my hardest to use my love for sports to drive my determination and creativeness to create something new! I would love to share my love for sports by showing everything there is to know about sports in the world and how it can help you to become the person you want to be!

If you ever need any feedback on extra motivation, or any comment or concern you may have, don’t be afraid to leave a comment at any time!

Thank you so much for dropping by! all love and support will be much appreciated
