I am 47 years old, and had a devastating stroke at the age of 45 which has changed my life completely(divorce, remarriage, unemployment, etc.). Although I'm no expert or am I a preacher of any kind, I hope by sharing my experiences with others who have suddenly become disabled, that they will know they are not alone and living a good life is still possible. I live in Mililani, Hawaii which does not suck! I'm married, with 3 beautiful kids of my own and 2 great stepchildren. I graduated from Mililani High School in 1984, and University of Oregon in 1988. I'm continuing to try and improve my physical condition. Life is good!

I'm Too Good For This, Or Am I?
"You can be a greeter at Wal-Mart" No offense to the Wal-Mart greeters, although I'm considered to be disabled under the law, I'm capable of doing so much more. I have been denied SSDI because they say I should be able to find work because of my age and education.…
