Heather Bradford (Street Articles Author)

I hold a Diploma of Education (Primary), have a strong interest in health, and have studied NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), a time based therapy and Hypnotherapy to the levels of Master Practitioner and Trainer. I am also a Reiki Master.

My current interests are sharing online both here and on squidoo (where my username is canoz). My current focus is understanding and sharing in the areas of personal growth and the unconscious mind.

I am a wife and mother with a small but strong network of family and friends. I enjoy coffee with friends, craft outlets such as patchwork, embroidery and scrapbooking, traveling, doing things with my family, and cooking when I have the time and inclination.

Glad you could stop by. Life is indeed beautiful.

Fabric Organisation
Fabric! A crafters delight. Patchwork cottons in colours, prints and sizes. Most of us who indulge in patchwork, or similar hobbies, can't get enough of it. The inevitable outcome is a lot of yardage, remnants and scraps that need some type of fabric organisation. I'm sure there a some people…

Easy Patchwork Christmas Decorations
It has been said that where attention goes energy flows. Perhaps that is why, for the first time this year, there has been an awakening of my interest in combining patchwork and Christmas. Creating patchwork Christmas decorations is really a new direction for me. I enjoy patchwork all year round.…

Patchwork Excuses! Are there Any?
Many people have unrequited loves and un-indulged passions in life. While there are many reasons for this perhaps there are no good excuses. If we are not following our hearts to places that make our heart sing then we are likely to have a sad and empty hole where our…

Seam Allowances Straight And True
Seam allowances are not something you're generally thinking about when the notion of learning patchwork becomes an enticement to you. I remember the first course I ever did. I don't remember what had appealed to me about doing it. It certainly wasn't the enticement of sewing precise straight lines! Perhaps…
