Jackie Anderson (Street Articles Author)

I am Jackie K. Anderson writer, creator, and I enjoy books of all kinds. Especially self help. I enjoy swimming, traveling, music. I'm a new member with StreetArticles and I'm sure that I can learn a lot just being a member. I started in the online business world back in 2008 after losing my job.

During that year I had several small successes along the way marketing different affiliate programs.

Later, that year I had a setback, though and (I was hospitalized with a stroke). I've since recovered from the attack on my body. Thank God for recovery! Now, I'm in the process of rebuilding my life.

Learning how to write has been a wonderful outlet for me and my recovery. I've always like setting the bar a little higher, so that I can stretch myself. I believe having writing as outlet forces me to stretch my brain, too.

When you have a stroke you lose brain cells. Little skills that you take for granted, such as remembering you social security number (which I've known since I was fourteen years old) now you can't remember and you have to relearn those skills all over again. It's similar a toddler having to learn how to walk, but only now you're an adult.

It took a while along with a lot of work, but I'm happy to report even with some minors things that I still need to work on I'm at 90 to 95 percent recovered. My doctors were simply amazed at my progress.

Earlier this year I visited Germany for the second time. I attended my daughter's graduation from her Master's program. I was very happy for her. We stayed in Heidelberg, Germany, visited castles, took a boat ride along the river and it was all so fascinating. I had a wonderful time.

Here's what happening today. I'm working on a couple of projects that both near and dear to my heart. One of which involves my niece Tina Harris. Tina is 32 years old and is in the process of being setup for kidney dialysis.

I'm helping her by getting the word out, because we are seeking a living kidney donor. Tina has stage 5 Renal failure.

The second project that I'm working on is restoring my credit. Even though I've recovered from the stroke, it created just a ton of bills. At first, I felt a bit overwhelmed to say the least.

Then, I decided to take the bull by the horns and overcome this mountain of debt. By doing so I know that I will enhance my credit situation.

I like to think about several quotes through out my day to help me stay focus. Quotes like: "How do you eat an elephant?" "One bite at at time." Another one I like is: "inch by inch, it's a cinch! "But, by the yard, it's hard".

Before it's over with my goal is to become an expert at credit. How credit works. How to improve it. How to increase my credit score. How to get rid of negative marks on my credit report, etc.

As I travel this journey on my way to "credit recovery", as well as learning all I can about "Chronic Kidney Disease" so that I can help my niece Tina, I will share my discoveries with anyone who will listen.

My hope is that I will deliver content that is not only valuable, but that it will aid someone else who maybe in a similar situation.

I'd love your feedback. I learn the best by getting feedback. Just like when I was attending technical school and I would get that grade at end of each quarter. I would make the necessary adjustment, so that I would get an even better grade the next semester.

Feedback allows me to see what's working and what's not working.

So, I'm asking for any comments, concerns that you may have to any of my articles that I publish and I will surely get back to you.
