I am a resident of the middle Tennessee area, and I am also very interested in achieving a self sustainable lifestyle in the greenest way possible. Gardening is one of my biggest passions, but I am also passionate about green energy and the wellness of our environment. One day I would like to be able to produce all of the food that my family and I eat, and to also live "off the grid". By "off the grid" I mean that I would also like to be able to set up a self sustaining electrical power generating system via water wheel and/or solar panels so that my family and I don't ever have to rely on public power companies to supply us with electricity. Soon we will be getting all of our water from a spring, so that will have the water side of this goal accomplished. I would like to see us all working together to live greener lives!
