I am a long time Montessori Preschool Teacher and also home schooled my 4 grown children through lower elementary. I was trained in Montessori by Dr. Elisabeth Caspari in 1980. One of my greatest joys is to provide the activities and instruction to assist young children to read in my classroom. I also want to offer as much support and dialog as possible to parents of pre-kindergarten aged children who want to teach their child to read. Most children enjoy learning to read. It is important that adults have internalized a clear understanding of the sequential steps to the reading process.
