I educate people on the status of their pension plan and try to bring a realistic approach to people hoping to experience passive income during retirement years. I know how hard public service employees work and the sacrifices they make in their careers. Unfortunately, I don't think many public service employees will be able to enjoy their state issued pensions for much longer. I feel it is most important for people to realize that although it is not fair that state governments have not contributed the required amounts to the pension plans they can still take control of their finances and build passive income for life. There are actually many reasons for the state pensions being tremendously underfunded in the United States. Most importantly, now is a great time to change one's mindset about pensions and begin an alternate course toward securing a financial plan B. I want to encourage people to educate themselves about alternatives to traditional pensions so they are prepared for a pension crash. People must believe that they have the power to provide their own pension bailout plan.
