It's hard for me to answer when I meet someone new and they ask me what I do. I usually tell them the part that is most relevant to them or the situation, but the fact is, sometimes even my family has trouble keeping track of the dozen or so plates I'm spinning at any given time.

In summary, I'd say... I'm an artist. With words, with music, with digital and analog art in various mediums, and in business. The success of a business, or advertising campaign, or brand, or event... is in my mind 90% art, 10% science. If you look around you, even the best scientists are artists these days.

I spent the majority of my first 40 years on this planet in search of wealth, fame and all that went with it. By most standards, I had lived a pretty abundant life. I owned big houses in exclusive golf course country club neighborhoods. I owned expensive cars, and lots of toys. I traveled where I wanted, when I wanted. I was making as much as $100,000 a week. From the outside looking in, I had it all. But on the inside, something was missing. I didn't know what that was until I lost everything I had, and started over again.

When I say I lost everything I had... I'm only talking about the stuff I used to believe was the most important to me. In one day, I lost millions of dollars, all my assets, any security and hope for the future I had built, and my reputation. It was not a good day. But in the process of building my life again, I found out how misguided I was. It was the most beautiful journey of my life. I'm still walking that path.

In my book, The Tao Of Business - How To Lose Everything You Own On A Thursday, I detail exactly how I lost my way, and in doing so, found what was most really most important to me.

My books; What Would Love Do?, The Tao of Business, and 111 Secrets To Abundance were written during this time of healing, as were most of the songs on the What Would Love Do CD.

I spend my days and nights these days as an author, songwriter and singer, life coach, Abundance Mentor, motivational and inspirational speaker, trainer, ad agency executive and strategic business and compliance consultant. Regardless of the job I'm doing in the moment, the lessons learned from those difficult days weave into every conversation.

Although I'm busier than I've ever been, I still entertain working with new clients. I have the luxury of being able to pick and choose who I work with. I'll only engage in a win/win deal that involves something bigger than a paycheck for everyone involved.

Reach out and connect. Lets talk about the possibilities

Watch What You Place Value On
These are interesting and complicated lessons we're learning. We designed this world, immersed as it is in contrast and opposition for one reason: To remind us who we really are. There are two type of things in this world. Things of the material reality, and things of spirit. One we…

The Easiest Way To Stop Procrastinating

Authenticity Rocks

Why Are You Doing That?
A master of martial arts trains his students using the 90% influence/10% authority rule. The principle behind this is that influencing students' behavior is much more effective than changing behavior through the exertion of authority. The master knows that whatever is done for the sake of authority, the students will…
