Greetings and welcome to my bio. I am not typically one to enjoy writing about myself (I tend to avoid these biography things as long as possible) but I realize that I probably should fill this out so you know a bit more about me. I am a college student attending college in Seattle right now. I have just begun to get into this whole writing thing again after a LONG break from writing. "Why write for fun if I'm already required to do a ton of writing for classes?" was my thinking process. Also, despite the fact that I am a decent writer, sitting down and writing up random articles did not sound appealing frankly. Which is why I am so thankful to be able to write about one of my hobbies here on StreetArticles.com; swordfighting and anything at all to do with it. :) Look for me under the sports/fencing category for some of my other articles. Additionally, I have started a website in which I am also examining the usage of various historic weapons. Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think!
Anatomy Of A Sword: Break Down the Jargon

Myths of Medieval European Sword Techniques
The sword is perhaps the most iconic weapon in human history. Cultures throughout the world used it for several thousand years due to its lethal efficiency. However popular culture ironically now looks at the European broad sword, long sword, bastard sword, and greatsword as large, heavy, and awkward weapons often…

How to choose a sword fighting style
So you are watching a movie and you see an epic sword fight and think to yourself, "I wish I could fight like that." While you may not think of yourself as a fierce warrior, it is not a talent most people are gifted with naturally these days either. Which…
