Len Schneck, PhD (Street Articles Author)

As a university professor, Len spent many years teaching, consulting and researching in virtually all areas of finance. His specialties include foreign exchange, futures, options, swaps, technical analysis, international finance and investments. He has been awarded two top prizes for best research papers in finance. He received his Ph.D. in finance from Carnegie Mellon University, one of the top quantitative finance programs in the world. He also has Masters degrees in physics, computer science, economics, business administration and finance, along with a minor in electrical engineering. Len has also worked as a financial economist at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and been Chief Financial Officer of an Internet-related company. Along the way, he has also served as a financial planner, investment advisor, futures broker and commodity pool operator. He has served his country as both an electronics engineer in the U.S. Air Force and as a pilot in the U.S. Navy. He is currently acting as a finance and marketing consultant to Innisofts.com. Len also occupies himself as a consultant, teacher and copywriter, mainly specializing in finance. Len has actively traded futures, options and Forex for more than 30 years.
