Until 2004, I was a pretty normal geek working as a System Admin for various companies through the years. But in that year, I took my first yoga class, and began taking Reiki, Tai Chi, and Qigong.

I am very interested in alternative medicine, although I prefer Dr Andrew Weil's phrase 'integrative medicine.' These practices are not meant to replace existing medicine - as in be an alternative to traditional western medicine; they are meant to complement it.

So I have been studying various methods of health and wellness since 2004, and I am very interested in sharing what I have learned about diet, fitness, and wellness using both modern and traditional therapies and practices.
