I grew up on Vancouver Island in a family of eight. My father was a fisherman and a farmer and a hunter, and he instilled in us kids a love of nature and sustainable resources. Of course, it didn't hurt that we lived on two acres of the best land, creek and forest that a kid could ever hope to grow up on! My family and friends have been camping for nearly thirty years in Canada. Every trip is a new adventure.
