My name is Sarah Mathews. I have been blogging about self esteem for a year, and a few months ago, I started working part-time as a teacher's aide. I enjoy working with children. I also have a self esteem blog, and I write about deaf-related issues and events. I used to write about other topics related to self esteem such as building self confidence, overcoming alcoholism and drug addiction, and achieving your goals. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I used to have low self esteem, and now I am confident most of the time. I also work on achieving my goals in life. I recently started a new website with a focus on achieving goals. People need high self esteem to overcome obstacles as they work toward goals. Many people face frustration when trying to achieve their goals. Not everyone will support you as you work toward your goal. Sometimes people will not cooperate with you. I believe when a door closes, it is time to evaluate why the door is closed to you and how to get better results next time.
