We live in a world that defines its reality through judgement. Pretty much everything you do or don't do is the result of some judgement on your part. Judgement comes in many disguises and is never, ever objective. There are many implications to this, one of them being that your judgements are blocking your abundance dead in its tracks.
It is rather curious that our society has made judgement, good or bad; and, incidentally, who and how do we judge what is good or bad, the lynch pin of our entire being.
The moment you get up you start judging: You decide whether your day will be good or bad depending on the quality of sleep you judged you had, the weather you judge to be in favour or against your prevailing moods, the kids being easy, or not so easy, depending on the parameters you have set to judge their behaviour.
What judgements are you holding about prosperity?
How does prosperity have to look like in order to be accepted by you? What are your views of what kind of prosperity is acceptable to you and worthy to be received by you? What have you decided the people you are going to do business with should look like and behave like? Where should they come from and how will you meet them?
I know, I am asking a lot of questions and hopefully you are beginning to get the point. When we decide that e want something in life we immediately run different possibility through our system. These possibilities pass through our filter system of what's acceptable and what isn't. Unfortunately, the vast majority of us have far too many filters, most of them subconscious, which are blocking prosperity.
The difficulty you face is creating an awareness of how your judgements are stopping you from receiving. Noticing whenever you are rejecting an idea because of subconscious judgements is the first step towards opening your mind to greater possibilities.
The Buddhist practice of witnessing yourself is a most useful tool. In fact Witnessing yourself expands your cognitive awareness: With practice you will notice how you are spending your life judging. You will also notice that most of your judgement do not serve you and really make no positive contribution to your life at all.
Most judgements do only one thing: They make you feel angry, frustrated or sad. These are not resourceful states that enable you to be open to allowing prosperous opportunities to come your way.
Judgement restricts your energy flow. Judgement makes you tense and promotes perpetual dissatisfaction and constant unhappiness It closes you off building artificial walls of protection around you, which you do not need and which block prosperity and many other good things coming to you. Just try it to stay out of judgement for one day, yes, just one day, and notice how different you feel.
