Dream Big And Don\'t Give Up!

Never Give Up On Your Dreams!

Dreams. Everyone has them. We all want them to come true. But many people are not willing

to do whatever it takes to achieve them. We say we are but then we get derailed. Most give up, and strive for lesser goals that don’t bring the happiness and satisfaction that achieving those goals should.

But it doesn’t need to be like that. You can overcome those obstacles. Yes, you can (and will) get frustrated. You will have days that you just want to chuck it all into the fire and find something else to do. And you may wonder what sweet delusion possessed you to dream so big. Just remember, no dream is unattainable, or too big. You can achieve your dreams. All you need to do is….

Breathe. True success takes time, it won't happen overnight. So, just take a step back. And when things get overwhelming, stop. Take a step outside of the situation. Refocus your thoughts. And try again. And whenever you get frustrated, just ask yourself why. Why are you frustrated? Does it seem too hard? Does it seem like it is not going fast enough? If, after a lot of thought, the answers are yes, then reevaluate how you are going about achieving your dreams. Perhaps all that is needed if for you to change your methods and approach. If you can do that, then the hard work that you are putting in won’t seem so hard anymore.

"It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop". (Confucius 551 BC-479 BC) It is amazing that a quote from over two thousand years ago still holds relevance in our day. Whether you achieve your dreams quickly, or whether it is a long process, you will not get there if you stop. You must keep going forward. Even if you take a break to try and become inspired again, you can still keep going. Taking a break, or "stopping", does not have to mean quitting. Just slow down, and start up again. And keep moving forward!

People give up on their dreams either because they expect success overnight and don't see it, or because they don't have a foundation to build their dreams upon. Remember, success takes time. And you need to build a strong foundation for your dreams. Every person is different. Whatever the case may be, just remember: Your dreams are achievable. Never give up!

Why Life is Like A Catapult
Ok, it’s one of those analogies that I came up with in the shower yesterday morning. But I’m seriously chuffed with this one. Such that future clients, NLP4Kids practitioners and the companies I mentor are going to get “the catapult talk” if they start telling me that they are struggling…
