How to Set Your Mind for Success

A man is what he thinks of himself. Changing your mind about how you see yourself could dramatically change they way you see other people. Self conciousness is very important to your personal development. The phrase "you are what you eat" is not literaly talking about physical food but it's talking about your mental digestion.

There is a difference between a poor man and a rich man. Of course the bank balance but the most significant difference is the mentality of the two. Let me share a story with you. Two shoe companies were based in country x they were both dominating the country with shoe sales neck and neck year after year. We'll name these companies company A and company B. Sales agent for company B overheard that company A was planning to take their business to Africa. So they sent in their best of the best teams to go take over the continent and flood them with sales. Since company B also knew company A's plan to go to Africa they also followed. When they got there they got a surprise of their lives, in Africa every man was walking on barefoot. Company A sent massages to their offices and they went all crazy!! so did company B. However company B told their offices to send back their ships to their country because they'll waste a lot of money and time because shoes are not a fashion item in the continent. The massage by company A was to get more ships on board because Africa looks like a fresh territory. Company A became the biggest shoe producer in the world!

There moral of the story here is that company A saw opportunity where company B saw adversity.

Most the time in our lives we have opportunities like these presenting themselves as opposition. And most of the time we miss those opportunities because we always expect opportunity dressed in flowers and roses and big check balances. In order to secure and keep our dreams and aspirations alive we should always stay motivated and great-full about the things we posses now.

Success is dressed up but is uncovered by those who look for it every where. The scary truth is everyone in this world has a capacity to succeed and excel in at least one section in their life. But not everybody discovers it because most of the times we are caught up in other things.

Hey Paul. I very much appriate your comment I honestly feel that it is neccessary for all of us to realize how much capable we are instead of giving our focus on our failures. What keeps me going is conviction. I sold myself the idea that I was born to succeed that even If i fail it doesn't affect me. When Bill Cosby said to succeed your desire to succeed has to be greater than your fear of failure. He is saying do not allow your previous failure affect ur future success. Thanks Paul all the best in achieving your goals. Just remember not to give up!!

Hey Justice, Many thanks for the article, and how true it rings to me. Often, even when I know something is worth pursuing, I have found myself literally drowning in other, mostly menial things, which take away the focus of pursuing my goal(s). Not always easy to see 'the wood for the trees' so to say, but it is essential not to drop those goals because of distraction !! Thanks again Paul (Luxembourg)

Why Life is Like A Catapult
Ok, it’s one of those analogies that I came up with in the shower yesterday morning. But I’m seriously chuffed with this one. Such that future clients, NLP4Kids practitioners and the companies I mentor are going to get “the catapult talk” if they start telling me that they are struggling…

Incredible Individuals Awesome Personalities!
There's a saying that "Listening to a researcher is more than perusing a book". Yes I concur with this quote as you can read numerous books throughout your life however only one hour of talking with a researcher reciprocals that. However, I won't say that perusing book is anything substandard.…
