Measured Success

How do you measure success? And what is a great deal about it. Success is the most common thing in every human being and we are all driven by success.

This varies from a young boy who dreams who of becoming the greatest soccer player in the world, to the sweet young girl who dreams of becoming the most beautiful girl in the world. This also goes down to the single mom who wants to be the best mom possible for her three kids, to the man sweeping the streets but dreams of becoming a millionaire one day.

Success is not just a statement but it is a spiritual thing. When you become successful it doesn't only changes your purpose but changes your state of thinking with it. Wouldn't it be great if everyone in the world became successful? Because that means that there will be no more crime just a crime free world right?

But how does one measures success? Take a look at this here, if Bill Gates would make $1 million US in one year he's be divested and disappointed, wouldn't he? But if an average Joe makes the same amount of money in one year he'd be over the moon. Even though they both made the same amount of that money their reaction weren't the same in the end. What I said earlier "when you become successful it doesn't only changes your purpose it also changes your state of thinking" to me it's obvious Bill Gates has put in a bigger price tag on his name then any average Joe. The more successful you become the more you start valuing your ideas and image.

Will Smith once said a very profound statement in one of his interview, he said “If you are building a wall you don’t just say I want to build the greatest wall in the world but you say, I will lay this brick as perfectly as a brick could ever be laid and soon you will have the greatest wall that has ever been built”. See success doesn’t have to be reflected by your bank account but is reflected by the fulfillment you get after you achieved your goal. What the money does is to amplify your success and make your life a little more easier.

Success is the greatest treasure hidden in each and everyone in the world. One has to find his purpose then the success will be inevitable!

Ok, it’s one of those analogies that I came up with in the shower yesterday morning. But I’m seriously chuffed with this one. Such that future clients, NLP4Kids practitioners and the companies I mentor are going to get “the catapult talk” if they start telling me that they are struggling…
