When starting a wight loss program you will need some incentive along the way. The best way to create this is to every once in a while reward yourself for a job well done. By doing this periodically your weight loss results will still be there.
How you reward yourself is up to you. Don't go out on a big food binge and eat lots of bad food which will just set you back even further than you were before. You might decide to buy some clothing as a reward in that smaller size. You are losing weight remember?
By rewarding yourself you will begin to feel a lot better about how you look and what you are doing. When a person feels good about themselves they tend to stay with the program and try harder to meet the next goal.
Many people started a weight loss program because they didn't feel good about themselves. There was a low self esteem and so rewarding yourself will give you a new sense of accomplishment and a desire to continue.
Don't worry about what others think of you. You need to worry about the fact that you feel good about yourself and what you are doing. A reward for yourself takes you to a higher standard in how you think about yourself.
You are creating a whole new thinking process and a new lifestyle which will benefit you for a long time.
By reaching your desired timely goals and ultimately you final goal you are setting a new standard for yourself. You will feel better about yourself, have improved health and your rewards will give you incentive to strive for even bigger goals in the future. The sky is the limit.
You have a new self confidence which others around you will see and benefit from. When you have a new and brighter outlook on life there are not to many abstacles that will get in your way to success in all things you pursue.
This new ability to succeed in life comes from the inside out. A sense of accomplishment is a great motivator and when rewarded can go to great lengths to help with other life changing decisions in the future.
Life is full of challenges and we need help sometimes to overcome them. So when we do we are allowed to reward ourselves in a reasonable manner to make life fun and engaging.
