When you think about life and all the highs and lows that it brings, you tend to come to a place of what matters most to you. I think we all come to this point at some time or another; think about when sitting at a four way stop some one is waiting for someone to make the first move. What about when you go out to eat with friends or family it takes at least one person 10 to 20 minutes to make up their mind on what it is they want to eat. I know for me there are times when I would ask the waiter what is good on the menu, because I couldn't make up my mind.
When it comes to working from home you need to give it some serious thought, think about what it is that you are wanting to accomplish. This thought process can be used for any area of your life. What do you want to be going on in your sphere of influence some years from now? What list of goals and dreams have you written down and meditated on?
When my husband and I first brought our home, I walked in and out of every room visualizing how I want the rooms to look, and then I wrote it out on paper. I started visualizing the color for every room, this became exciting and motivating all at the same time. But guess what it was contagious, my daughter started seeing what her room would look like, and then my husband started seeing himself completing different projects around the house.
If you put into practice writing down your goals and dreams and then visualize them coming to reality, you will then have pretty much a clear and precise picture of the things you want in your life every day. You will come to an understanding of the kind of of people you want to have around you. See I remember when growing up I didn't know how to have goals and dreams and I certainly didn't know what I had to do to accomplish them.
But after joining the track team in junior high, and having the opportunity to travel to different places and being around different people I started evaluating my life. I started thinking about and visualizing the kind of future I wanted. I started writing things down, making changes like who were positive people and who were negative people in my life? Who made me feel like I could do anything that I set my mind to do as long as I worked hard? Who made me happy, and who got on my last nerve? How did I want people to remember me? Ask yourself What things do I need to change first about myself as I walk through this life journey?
Here are tips that can change your life forever. 1. Decide who you will ignore, meaning there will be people who will come and tell you that you will never mount up to nothing. "Ignore it" They will say things like you can't do it because your not smart enough. You have to ignore it, and keep it moving. 2. Decide who you enjoy, meaning what people gives you pleasure being around them. You fill as though you left their presence filling better about yourself than when your not around them. They give you the respect, love, friendship and understanding that you deserve. 3. Decide who you want to impress the most, meaning there will be people who you look up to for one reason or another. Those who see greatness in you are the ones that you should want to impress the most. 4. Decide who has ignored you, meaning people who have been brushing you off for one reason or another. Let them go and move on. 5. Decide whose example is worth following with passion, and 6. Decide what you want your every day life to look and be like.
