I've compiled what are some of the best ways to get rid of back acne that many people have used to cure their own acne, and so can you. Here they are, enjoy!
Exfoliate – this is when you get a gentle scrubber or loofah, and go over your skin in a clockwise motion loosening the dead skin that has dried over your pores. This will help stop future breakouts and make way for nice looking, healthy, firm skin to grow. This shouldn't be done more than 2 times a week to avoid irritation of the skin and acne.
Exercise – did you know that when you sweat through exercise you get rid of the bacteria, dirt and other things that get into your pores? Its almost like your body is giving you an incentive to work out. I try to exercise at least 3 times a week and really work a sweat. This helps not only prevent more pimples from forming on the skin, but it will also help get rid of the pimples that you already have.
Benzoyl Peroxide – This ingredient is in a lot of different acne products, and its used to go into the pimple itself and dry out the pimple. I've found that this is even more effective if I'm working out regularly. A cleanser with 10% benzoyl peroxide as an active ingredient works the best.
Glycolic Acid – This is used by many people that want to have a healthier complexion and develop skin that has that healthy glow that you want. While its great for developing really healthy skin, its also great for acne as it helps clear out the pores, gets rid of the skin cells that your acne resides on helping your body get rid of the back acne faster.
Healthy Foods – I can't stress enough how much healthy foods affect the way your skin looks. The saying “you are what you eat” is really true. What ever you eat shows through the quality of your skin. So, try to eat less foods that have been saturated with hormones and more foods that are organic and grown naturally. This can be hard sometimes as so much food is now grown with added hormones to make them bigger and grow faster.
Stress – When you stress out, your body produces harmful toxins in your body and begins to produce even more hormones that not only hurt your body, but your complexion. Because you want to get rid of acne, and not cause more breakouts, try lowering the amount of stress in your life. You'd be surprised how much stress might be in your life, but if you can cut some of those things out, start enjoying things that make you laugh more often, you'll do yourself a great service in helping your body clear up the acne that you have.
Green Tea – Natural tea has anti-oxidants in it that help cleanse out the body of toxins and free radicals that cause your breakouts. Try to drink 1 to 2 cups of this every day. Keep in mind that the more natural it is the better. That means no caffeine, and not adding any sugars if possible. If you need added taste, try honey instead.
Cold Water – This can be used to close up the pores and help get rid of the redness around pimples that make them so bad to look at. Use cold water after treating your acne to help make your pimples smaller and go away faster. You can use cold packs on your back for 5 to 10 minutes on the areas that have acne. This is a great way to reduce the redness and a good way to unwind at the end of the day. Not to mention a great way to get rid of back acne that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.
Moisturizer – Keep in mind that most acne cleansers rip away the natural protective layers of the skin, so its important that you keep your skin protected. This will help your skin look better, and help deter future breakouts. Use a non oil based moisturizer for your skin that has vitamin E in it.
Lemon Juice – The pulp of lemon juice is great for clearing away acne. When I had acne, I would use freshly squeezed lemon juice/pulp and spread it over the areas with acne and let it settle for a few minutes before rinsing it off. This simple thing will help get rid of back acne faster, and serves as a really good method to clear away the red marks that are left behind by acne.
