Finding a treatment for back acne can be difficult, so I'd like to introduce you to three simple ideas that you can use to help you finally be rid of annoying back acne. I have to warn you though, these are not over night treatments, but have definitely helped me clear up the acne on my back, and I think they'll do the same for you as well.
Exercise at least three times a week. Its crazy how some people believe that exercising can actually cause acne for them, when in reality, its actually something that will help them in the long run. Working out helps get rid of the extra hormones in the body that eventually lead to acne. Also, toxins that are harmful, and contribute to the production of more pimples are released through the body when we sweat.
Its your bodies natural way of flushing out harmful things from your body. So, don't be afraid to do some sweating, its actually good for you.
I find that running stairs has shown the best results for me. I think it has to do with the amount of effort to do the task that makes it so beneficial. Whether its playing a sport with friends, or going for a run, make sure that you work up a sweat. You don't need to do anything for a long period of time, twenty minutes is plenty. Just make sure your working hard.
Use an acne cleanser. Now that you've worked out, its time to hit the shower. When I take a shower, my favorite acne cleanser to use is one that contains Salicylic Acid. This can be found at just about any local store that sales acne products. Just look at the back of the product where it gives the “active ingredient” and you will find what you need. Get something that has 2% Salicylic Acid in it. This is a really good treatment for back acne because it helps prevent future breakouts for occurring.
When your taking a shower, use a loofah or gentle shower scrubber to spread the cleanser over your back. This kills two birds with one stone. Not only are you spreading the effective cleanser on your skin, but you are also exfoliating (breaking away the dead skin cells) your skin which will help prevent future breakouts, just make sure to be gentle to your skin. Let the treatment do its work for a couple minutes, 2 minutes will do, then rinse off with cold water.
Make sure to eat plenty of foods high in anti-oxidants. Remember, you have all of these toxins, and extra hormones in your body that are making your breakout. You need to get rid of them. One of the best ways that I've found is to eat foods that are made to help you clean out your system.
Easy sources of anti-oxidants in food can be found in fruits, mainly berries and pineapples, dry fruits, such as apricots, and nuts. There are so many different sources of antioxidants, but my favorite are apples and grapes as they are tastier than the rest, in my opinion.
It may sound like its too easy, but if you work smart, and are dedicated, these can be a great treatment for back acne that you can use to finally get rid of the acne on your back.
