An effective back acne treatment is one that not only will treat the problem from the outside of the skin, but also from within the body where the pimples are coming from. Having tried many different acne products on the market, I can honestly say that not many do this. But, I would like to share with you some things that I've found that really do work on the skin and the cause within us. These have worked for me and will work for you too.
A very affective treatment for the pimples themselves, is Benzoyl Peroxide. This simple ingredient has the ability to go within the pimple itself and kill the bacteria helping the pimple heal faster. The good thing about this ingredient is that it can be found in just about any store that sells acne products, just look at the back of the product and look at “active ingredient” and you should see it there.
Something that works well along with Benzoyl Peroxide is cold water. After you treat your pimples with the above mentioned ingredient, apply either cold water or a cold pack to the skin (cold packs work better). Do this for a couple minutes. The cold water helps close up the pores, makes the redness of the pimple go away making the pimple smaller (and less noticeable), and helps the skin heal faster. Applying cold packs to your own back acne be hard if the pimples are in hard to reach places, so if you need to, either have someone help you, or run cold water over your back for a few minutes while in the shower instead.
Be sure to eat healthy foods. This should go without saying, but imagine your complexion is a reflection of what you put inside your body. Most foods made now a days contain a large amount of hormones that have been added to make the foods grow faster and bigger. These hormones are not natural and will hurt your body. These harmful things can also produce more breakouts of acne. So, try to eat foods that are organic, and essential healthier for you.
Be sure to get enough sleep. Your body is constantly trying to heal itself, and does its best work while your sleeping. Try to allow yourself at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep. I noticed when I was first doing these things myself, that when I got good sleep for a couple days, my skin looked much healthier, and pimples were healing a lot quicker. While a good amount of sleep is healthy for you, I've noticed that too much can be a bad thing. So, don't over do it. Sleep really can be the best back acne treatment if you allow it the opportunity.
Last, but definitely not least, stay stress free. Its amazing how harmful stress is to the body. When you stress out your body creates toxins that run through your system, hurting you and your chances of being acne free. So do yourself a favor, and pick up a couple habits that help you rid stress from your life. I try to make sure to exercise every other day, watch my favorite comedian every evening I get a chance, and catch myself when I start worrying too much about something.
