Its unfortunate but common skin problems develop at the most inappropriate times in our lives. With the onset of puberty and other hormonal changes within our bodies, dealing with acne is just one other area we all have to deal with. It does seem cruel having to deal with this skin problem but it is a part of life. So if we have to suffer from this perhaps we can look for natural and safe ways to get rid of acne. It goes without saying that by eating right, getting plenty of sleep as well as sufficient exercise on a daily basis will go along way towards helping however there are a few more changes we can make that will aid in controlling this skin disease.
One suggestion that you probably have heard over and over again is that if you do not get enough sleep then you will have a harder time controlling your acne. This without doubt is accurate and insufficient sleep can result in plenty of problems within your body, along with a bad skin tone. However what is surprising which many do not realize, is that sleep may actually be making the acne worse. There are steps that need to be taken before you go to sleep and this is very important.
We all sweat during the day and this sweat from our glands gets into the pores on our face and hair. Washing our face before bed time is a good habit to get into but it may also be good practice to wash our hair as well. The reason is that the oil from our hair can actually cause a build up of oil on our face during sleep. You may think that by tying your hair back to keep it out of our face would help. But not so much, the oil from our hair may actually be transferred to our pillow and then to our face during the night.
This is why it is so important to clean our entire body before going to bed. There is actually a two fold benefit by making sure our skin and hair are clean before going to bed and that is it will not only help us sleep better but our quality of sleep will be so much more better. So if you want clearer skin do not neglect this important part of your daily routine. It will go along way to promoting a healthier looking skin.
A nice piece, like what you said about insufficient sleep. I have to adjust my sleeping hours. these days i go with less than five hours sleep daily
