Curing Back Acne – 5 Steps To A Clear Back

Curing back acne is hard without the proper knowledge and instruction. The most difficult thing about trying to get rid of acne is that there are so many different ways that people recommend, making it more confusing than it needs to be. So, here the 5 steps that I've used to clear my back.

The first is detoxing the body. This is generally when you would go on a particular diet to cleanse out the body of all the things that could be causing harm to the body. Because of all the nasty things that companies put into foods and drinks to make them bigger and taste better, detoxing the body has become pretty popular. But what you probably haven't heard, is that this practice can actually help clear acne from your skin. And it works really well for most people who try it.

I've found that apple diets are the best way to detox the body as they contain anti-oxidants and the apples themselves act like a sponge to all the free radicals and toxins floating in your blood stream. The apples gather all of these, and when you use the toilet, out they go. Going on a 3 day apple fast (or detox) is one of the best ways to go. Make sure that the only drink you have is water. Sound harsh? Its a pretty low price to pay for having clear skin.

The second step is to use a cleanser with benzoyl peroxide in it. This ingredient found in many acne cleansers is good for penetrating deep into a pimple and killing the bacteria that makes the pimple. This step is important as you've already started treating your acne problem from within, its now time to get rid of the visible pimples that you already have.

While I'm in the shower, I find that its easiest to use any kind of cleanser on my skin. Once you have a acne product with benzoyl peroxide, use either your hand or a soft shower scrubber to spread the cleanser over your skin. Allow the medicine to sit for about 5 minutes, then rinse off with cold water.

The third step, is the proper use of cold water. Most people only use hot water when their trying to treat their acne, but their really missing out on the power of cold water. While hot water is great for opening up the pores, it also rushes blood to the surface of the skin, and into the pimple making it bigger and worse to look at. Cold water is good for closing up the pores, and causing blood to move away from the pimple, making it smaller and less noticeable. This is one of the easier and faster ways to curing back acne.

To make your back acne go away faster, use warm/hot water when your treating your acne (putting on the cleanser) but when your rinsing off, use cold water and allow the cold water to run over your back for at least one minute. This will make getting rid of any pimples that you have go by a lot faster.

The fourth step is to exfoliate the skin on a regular basis. Exfoliating is simply when you take a soft shower scrubber or a loofah, and rub your skin softly in a clock wise motion. This practice loosens and breaks away the dead skin that has dried over your pores blocking them, creating breakouts. This is really good for helping prevent any new pimples from developing. Though, I wouldn't do this more than 2 or 3 times a week, depending on how sensitive your skin is.

The fifth and final step, is to NOT irritate the skin. Don't over do it when trying to get rid of your acne, its not worth it. When you irritate the skin and pimples, you simply force more blood to the pimple (making the pimple bigger). Curing back acne is difficult enough as it is without making it harder for yourself. So take it easy on the skin, if you feel your skin start to dry up, or begin to hurt because of how often or harsh you are on the skin, back off a little until things get better.
