Acne blemishes and scars can be cleared up. I'm not saying that it's the easiest thing to do in the world, but with effort, belief and a consistent regime you can have great results with your acne and those annoying scars. There are a number of treatments available, ranging from surgery which costs thousands of dollars right down to home remedies that can be purchased for a few dollars. I recommend trying the home remedies first - since they are so much cheaper and they can also be very effective. Here are a few ways to clear up acne blemishes and scars:
Essential oils such as Rosehip oil and Lavender oil are very effective ways at smoothing the skin and helping scars. I recommend trying rosehip oil first, since it's great at treating the skin and helping to fade acne scars. It's almost a 'wonder' product and you'll find that it's useful on many a skin condition, acne included. It's worth hunting down. Lavender oil also works as a very effective moisturizer and while the scent is rather intense, it's a lovely thing to put on the skin. If you use it just before bed you'll even get to sleep quicker!
Vinegar (especially Apple Cider Vinegar) helps to even the skin tone, reduce acne and fade scars. Use a face cloth with some vinegar and massage over the skin. The acidic nature of vinegar helps to balance the skin and helps to restore some of the balance that may have been missing. Give it go - many many people who have tried everything under the sun have found blessed relief with Apple Cider Vinegar.
Tomato Pulp (or juice) is another acidic fruit that can help to reduce the appearance of acne and acne scars. Like lemons (not mentioned in this article, but I'm sure you've heard of that treatment) tomatoes help to kill the bacteria that causes acne. Simply blend a few tomatoes and smear over the skin. You can also cut a tomato in half and scoop out the insides if you'd rather not lug the blender out from under the bench.
It's also important that you try as hard as you can to improve your lifestyle. Acne is a lot easier to deal with if it isn't there in the first place, and there are several things you can try that will help that. Drinking plenty of water (or green tea) every day will help to flush the body and improve the skin. Get as much fiber in you as possible - psyllium husk is a good supplement - and stock up on the fruits and vegetables. Reduce stress, perhaps practice meditation if you get into it, and not only will you feel healthier and more alive, but your skin will improve! And who honestly doesn't want to get healthier?
