There are a few getting rid of back acne tricks that are a little out of the ordinary, but have proven very effective for many people. I would like to share some of them here with you, and I believe if you really make the effort to apply these in your life, you will see amazing results just as I have by using them.
The first is to reduce stress in your life. This probably isn't a new one for you, but consider that when you stress, your body begins to release toxins into your body that can prove to be very harmful to your health, and will lead to future breakouts of acne. Some things you can do to help your life become stress free are:
1.) Going for a walk. There is something therapeutic about walking that helps the mind relax and let go of worries. I try to make a 15 minute walk a part of my every day. This simple act has been incredible for me.
2.) Watching your favorite comedy, or comedian. I'm sure you've heard that laughing is really healthy for you, it's also great for ridding stress from your life. Simply watching 30 minutes of your favorite show a night will give you great results.
3.) Meditation. I'm not saying you have to become a monk or anything, but giving yourself 5 to 10 minutes every day to relax, and clear your mind will do wonders for you.
The second thing I use is positive thinking. Before you start thinking that I've lost my noodle, and ask “what does positive thinking have to do with getting rid of back acne?”, let me say that it has A LOT to do with it.
We humans have this amazing ability to think of things so hard and so often, that we end up making them happen. You do it all the time too. You wake up, and think (and truly believe) that its going to be a bad day, then it will be. And the times that you wake up think and truly believe its going to be an amazing day, then it is.
This is the same with your back acne. You might look in the mirror, and see these ugly pimples. You think of how embarrassing they are to have, how you hate them so much, and how they'll never go away... and because you think it hard enough, and begin to believe it, that's exactly what happens. The next thing you know, you have another breakout and are stressed out about your acne even more.
So lets change your thinking.
Instead of imagining how bad the pimples are, imagine how happy you are now that you have clear skin. You don't have any pimples, and because of it, your free of the worries that come along with them. You can wear whatever you want and not feel like people are staring at the pimples on your back and shoulders. Believe that your already clear, and make sure you visualize how good it feels (don't just see yourself happy, feel it).
Sound crazy? I thought so too at first, but I began to do this everyday, at least once, and the weirdest thing started happening. I stopped worrying about the pimples that were there on my back, and soon enough, the breakouts stopped, and I soon became clear. I'm not going to say that “thinking happy thoughts” did that by themselves, but it is a good way to get rid of back acne and definately helped me with mine.
The third thing, is to exercise on a regular basis. This is such an important thing for your complexion. While there might be some that believe that exercising can cause more pimples, I know from experience that working out can clear up acne so fast and help you keep your skin clean.
Exercising helps your body clean out your pores, cleanses your system of any harmful toxins that would otherwise lead to breakouts, and will lead to an overall healthier complexion. I've found that running is one of the best ways of getting rid of back acne, and the more you run, the faster the results.
