Trying to treat back acne can be pretty darn difficult. Because of this, I've put together 5 different things that have worked wonders for me, and I think they'll do the same for your back acne.
Baking Soda. A great home remedy for treating acne on the back, baking soda has the ability to dry up the pimple, allowing your skin to clear up faster and develop healthy clear skin cells. What I like most about this cleanser, is that it can replace many harmful chemicals that try to do the same thing, and it costs a fraction of the price.
When taking a shower, simply spread some over the area of your back, and gently rub it into the skin. Allow the baking soda to sit for around 2 to 5 minutes then rinse off thoroughly with cold water.
Apple Cider Vinegar. I use this both topically (on my skin) and as an oral treatment. You have so many toxins in your body that eventually lead to breakouts of acne. The apple cider vinegar acts as a cleanser to your system and helps flush out all the harmful things from your body. Also, when used on the skin, it is a great toner, and really gives your skin the healthy glow you want.
Every morning and when I'm getting ready for bed, I drink two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar with about 8 ounces of water. The taste of this stuff is pretty hard to get use to at first, but I assure you, as long as you stick with it after a couple days its not a problem at all. To help with the taste, I try not to breath out of my nose while drinking it, this really does help a lot.
As a skin toner, I mix apple cider vinegar and water at about a 50/50 ratio then apply to my face. I also do this twice a day, once in the morning then when getting ready for bed. Again, the smell is a little ridiculous, but it goes away and the results are well worth it.
Wash hair regularly. So much natural oils gather in your hair, and if allowed to gather to long, will eventually make its way onto your neck, shoulders then back helping cause more breakouts. So try to give your hair a wash at least three times a week, and you'll see that this is a great way to treat back acne.
Change your sheets often. Ever think about all the bacteria, dirt and grime that you gather on your body by the end of the day? Even after taking a good shower, we still have some of these nasty things on our bodies that we take to our bed. If you don't change your sheet regularly enough, these things will make its way onto your back and make the pimples that you already have worse, and cause more pimples to form. You could make things a lot easier on yourself by simply changing your sheets on a regular basis, even just once or twice a week will show huge results.
Try not to irritate your skin. In the hope of getting rid of your acne faster, you might over do it. When we irritate the pimples, we make them bigger, redder, and harder to get rid of. This is because we're forcing more blood into the already formed pimple and this prevents the skin from healing as fast as it could have otherwise. So please try not to over do it when trying to treat back acne as it could make things worse.
