I found what I believe to be the best way to quit smoking!
I've quit smoking and have been smoke free for over a year. I don't crave them, in fact I don't even miss them at all. The best part is that I can still hang out with my smoker friends and go to the same places without worrying if I'll be tempted. The only thing that changed is that I am now a non-smoker.
In the past everything I had tried would work for a while, but then I would find my self in a situation where I would cave into the craving. Smoking is a terrible addiction and one of the hardest things I've ever had to overcome. I thought it would be impossible but I didn't give up and eventually I found a way to quit smoking that worked for me.
Now that I don't smoke, I'm noticing my life has improved considerably. The biggest improvement so far is the way I feel. The extra money I have is nice too, but really the thing I noticed right away is that I can climb stairs without being winded, the coughing is virtually gone, and everything tastes better. I have way more energy than I used to have so I can do more in a day, especially since I'm not wasting half of it standing around smoking.
I had been smoking for more than half my life so I knew that finding a way to quit smoking was going to be difficult, but I was getting desperate. I started my search looking for the fastest easiet way to go about it. I looked into Laser treatment, using will power to quit on my own, hypnosis, nicotine gum, electric cigarettes and detox diets. All of these methods have pros and cons, the biggest problem for me was finding a way to stay focused on quitting while I am busy with my everyday hustle and bustle.
Hypnosis seemed to make the most sense for me because of the relative ease and little effort required for me to fit it in to my schedule. There are many articles that talk about how successful it is, and it's easy to find products and services that will work.
What I finally ended up doing is using a simple hypnotic technique that I could administer myself. The secret to the hypnosis is that it works on your subconscious. I would just listen to the recordings a couple of times a day and then focus on my work at hand.
I also found that increasing my water intake and forcing myself to go for short walks really helped to minimize the cravings. I'm not sure the walking was completely necessary, but it helped me to not think about smoking. Good luck!
