Flying To Known Destinations Is Better

As someone who has never flown, I would love to fly. I would love sitting among other passengers, I would love looking out the window as I flew, and I would probably love the feeling of flying. I would not like it, however, if I did not know where I was going.

If I were flying to an unknown destination, I would not know how to pack for the trip. I would not know the climate of the place I was heading to or what I was going to do once I got there. When I pack for a trip, I usually think about the area’s climate, the activities that I will be involved in shortly after I arrive, and how long I will be there. By thinking this way, I can pack what I need so that I will be comfortable.

For example, if I were flying to Maine in the winter to visit my grandparents, I would pack warm casual clothes, such as sweatshirts and jeans. I would also pack something nice to wear to Mass on Sunday. Finally, I would pack my laptop so that I could continue my publishing. There are also other places I would like to go, and I would know how to pack for these destinations, as well.

My husband and I were married while we worked on the Disney College Program. Therefore, we would like to return to Disney World. Packing for a trip to Disney World, I would want plenty of comfortable clothing. I would also want to make sure that I had comfortable shoes, because we would be doing a great deal of walking. If we managed to get back to Disney World, we would be interested in seeing the new attractions that have been built since we were there.

Finally, I have wanted to audition for “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?”. If I were flying to New York City for an audition, I would want to dress to impress. Therefore, I would shop around for a suit, and I would be sure to pack the suit in my luggage so that I could wear it for my audition.

A trip to the unknown would certainly make for some interesting articles. I could write about what I saw when I looked out the windows of the plane. Then, when I got off the plane, I could write about the area’s temperature and the sounds I heard around me.

However, I think that articles from known destinations would come out better. I like adventure, but I also like to know what to expect. If I know what is coming, I feel better. I can then relax and write better articles, which are more fun to read.
