3 Things All Affiliate Marketers Need To Survive Online

It is the goal of every affiliate marketer to find the market that will give them the biggest paycheck - many people think there is some magic formula, but the reality is success will only come from applying marketing practices that have been around since before the advent of online marketing.

These tactics have been proven over years and by applying these three top marketing tips you will be able to maximise your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing world.

Tip 1 - Unique web sites - to promote each product you are marketing. Don't build a jack of all trades website just to save some money. The best approach is to have a site focusing on each and every product. To build credibility always include product reviews so your visitors will have an initial understanding of what the product or service can do, this means you must also have used the product before reviewing it and also ensure you cover both the positives and negatives of the product – this is vitally important in light of the recent changes at Google.

Tip 2 - Free incentives – Building an email list of prospects is key. An effective way of doing this is through offering a free incentive or report if people sign up to your list. By building this list you have the opportunity to build a relationship with your potential customers. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

Only two things can possibly happen with a web site alone: generate a sale or the prospect leaving the page never to return again. By putting useful and compelling information into their inboxes on a regular basis, you can drive them towards specific products, you just have to ensure that the content of your messages is directed towards specific issues that the particular product will solve, be cvareful you do not make it sound like a sales pitch though!

3. Drive targeted traffic – This is a no brainer but you have to make sure the traffic you are getting is interested in the products you are promoting, if not then they visit and never come back and your bounce rate goes through the roof. One way to drive targeted traffic is to write articles for publication on article directories. This way you are writing around a specific set of keywords or search phrases and you can drive people into your site from these directories.

Aim to write a minimum of 1 article per day, of at least 300-600 words. By continuously writing articles around your specific niche you can generate at least 1 click per day from each article, so after a year you could be generating 360 clicks into your website every single day!

These affiliate marketing tactics are not really difficult to do they just require time, effort and most importantly action by you! By implementing these tips across each and every website you own and promote you will in time start generating a significant income and ultimately survive where many others are failing.
