Affiliate marketing is one of the most lucrative businesses to get into online, because it allows you to focus solely on marketing, while leaving the product development and customer service to the merchants. As an affiliate marketer, you get to take the bulk of the selling price as a commission, up to 75% in many cases. So obviously, the more affiliate marketing sales you make, the more money you earn. As an affiliate marketer, I'm always looking for ways to increase my affiliate marketing sales, and here are my 3 tips for increasing your affiliate marketing sales.

Tips To Increase Your Affiliate Marketing Sales #1: Know Your Potential Customer

The most important thing you can do to increase your affiliate marketing sales is to know your potential customers and what their underlying need is. Whether you own a website or use free article directories, the success and your failure as an affiliate marketer ultimately comes down to how effectively you communicate about the problems your potential customer is facing, and why your product or service is the best solution to solve those problems.

Tips To Increase Your Affiliate Marketing Sales #2: Target Highly Relevant Keywords

Most beginners don't make very many affiliate marketing sales simply because their marketing content never gets found by the right audience. You could write the best affiliate marketing pieces in the world, but if you target keywords that are too broad or just not relevant to your product, all your efforts will go to waste. A powerful way to increase your affiliate marketing sales is to target keywords that are highly relevant to the potential customers of your product or service. For example, if your product is specifically designed to help new mothers to lose the weight they gained during pregnancy, then you'll get far better results if you target "lose post pregnancy weight" than if you just targeted "lose weight".

Tips To Increase Your Affiliate Marketing Sales #3: Build Rapport With Your Customer

One of the things that I firmly believe is the key to success for any affiliate wanting to increase their affiliate marketing sales is to build a strong rapport with their customer with their pre-sales copy. In your review or comparison, you absolutely must communicate with your potential customers that you know what you're talking about, and convince them to trust your recommendation. You can do this by following the simple but powerful "feel, felt, found" formula.

First, you identify or empathize with what they are going through, and that you know exactly how they "feel". Next, you share a brief story about someone else that "felt" that exact same way. Finally, conclude with how that person "found" the relief to the pain/solution to their problem when they bought the product/service on offer.

If you want to increase your affiliate marketing sales, then you need to remember at all times that your visitors are real people with real needs., If you put yourself in their shoes and think about what it takes to lead them from where they are to where they're ready to make a buying decision, you'll have a surefire way of turning a good number of your potential customers into affiliate marketing sales.
