So you really want to know how much money you can make as a result of affiliate marketing.  Its the people with no experience that most often need to know the answer to this question.  The truth is there is no real dollar value because the money you can make really is unlimited.  It really is entirely up to the individual as to how much they make.  I dont want to sound spammy or scammy but if you really assert yourself and do things right you could become wealthy as an affiliate.  Below I hope to give you a few pointers on what you may make with different actions.

Before we talk money though lets talk a little about how great affiliate marketing is.  The first thing I love is getting paid from so many different sources all from doing one of two actions.  I just cant even imagine a better way to make a living then through affiliate marketing.  The fact that I choose what I do and no one else is enough to make me stay with what I am doing.

So Why Is Affiliate Marketing Different?

The first thing and possibly best thing is with affiliate marketing you are your own boss.  You can go to work with absolutely no limits.  Its as simple as setting up a website, putting some quality offers on it that will make you money not just once but many times over.  It really is cool that one piece of work can make you money many times over.

You always hear about making money in your sleep.  Well the truth is with affiliate marketing you really can and will make money while you are sleeping.  The fact of the matter is your campaigns do not shut off at 5PM and start up again at 9AM.  The cool thing about that os when you wake up in the morning and get to check your earnings to see how much you made the night before.

Another cool thing is you can work for as many affiliate companies as you want.  There are times when I am an affiliate of over 20 different vendors.  If you put in the effort eventually you will be getting checks from all these vendors.  After time it is possible to be getting paid from different vendors every week.  I guess its great that we know when we will get paid but I know you really want to know how much you will get paid.

What Do Affiliates Earn?

There are so many different things involved in what affiliates earn that it makes it an incredibly huge topic to deal with.  If I could even start to get into every little detail it would take you a month to read.  So lets just get a little into the things that seem to work for me.  The way I do most of my affiliate marketing is SEO mixed with article marketing.  By doing this I generally make quiet a few sales each month.  However for the sake of being easy lets say we are making 100 sales each month.

Because there are so many different things you can promote there will be different amounts of money you will make.  When it comes to the physical products at Amazon you can promote and promote and make 25 cents per sale.  Then There is Clickbank which will very easily make you 25 ucks a sale.  Then there are the really high priced products that could yield you like 2500 dollars per sale.

So this should get you thinking.  We talked about 100 sales.  So you can either make 25 bucks from 100 sales or a quarter million from the high end sales.  Of course you shouldnt expect to make 100-2500 dollar sales.  The fact of the matter is it shows you what is out there and how much different things could be.

The fun really starts when you start to make sales on items that have billing that is recurring.  What I am talking about is for example you can promote a product that pays you 50 bucks once or 50 bucks a month.  When we atrt talking about recurring payments we then start talking about making big money over and over.  You will very soon be in love with affiliate marketing.

Listen Very Carefully

Affiliate marketing is work and requires a skill to get you going.  You better take the time to learn what you need to learn or you will go no where with affiliate marketing.  Lets take the time to learn properly so that you get to see the good side of working online as opposed to the ugly side of working online.  Bottom line is you need to put in the effort and things will work out for you.
