It helps to read reviews on the guides you are going to use in your affiliate marketing efforts. I have gone through quite a number of them and I have found that it is not always easy to decided which one to buy. Here are some of the things to consider before you get that training guide;
However the guide for my affiliate training gets to me, the first thing I look at is the sales page of course. Usually I tend to be very cautious of those sales letters that promise me no work or little work and thousands of dollar per week or even per day. I am not saying those do not exist, but the work part is crucial. Simply put, there are no businesses where you are not required to put in work.
The second thing is I search certain trusted forums which review products to see what those who have bought and implemented have said about it. Some are paid reviews and some are affiliates so I tend to be wary of review sites. I stick with the forums and read the threads written on the particular guide.
I will look at the general picture to gauge whether people are satisfied or not. If more seem unsatisfied, I proceed with caution. Let me say it again here, when you are reading the reviews, read take note of those who say they have bought it and implemented it. Those are more trustworthy compared to those who judge the product by its sales letter and other things but not based on implementation.
I also tend to look at what is involved so that I can gauge whether it means learning new skills or shaping up the some of the skills I have in my affiliate marketing strategy. If you are new to affiliate marketing, you will concern yourself with the learning new skills.
The third thing I look at is who is selling the guide or course under review. You will find that track records are not hard to come by. It gives you a picture of what to expect from those who will be teaching you.
Watch out for those who complain. Most complaints come from people who are looking for an easy way to making money. They are not willing to put in the effort required to see positive results. Some complaints are genuine though so you will need to use your discretion.
Do you have any issue with the product or have issues which the sales page does not clarify? Contact the support team. How they will respond to you will usually indicate the nature of the business people you are dealing with. Still not sure? Join their mailing list and see if they will really help or they just want to sell some more things.
The point is, before you buy any guides in internet marketing, whatever strategy you use, do your due diligence to find out who you are buying from. You do not want your hard earned money to go to waste. You want a large chunk of money you invest in the business to return to you faster. When that happens, you will be glad you started affiliate marketing.
