The list of available niches to promote is endless. That is one reason it is hard for a lot of people to find a good niche. They see all the possibilities and get overloaded. That does not have to be the case however. Everybody has some passion they love to pursue. Whether it is fishing, hunting, shopping, knitting, backing, woodworking etc. You simply have to ask yourself what do I love. If find niche you love than it will not seem like work. You will actually enjoy your research and be able to help people more.
There a few place I like to check out when I am looking for new niches. One is a forum. Forums are great places to see what it actually is people want to know. If you know what it is people are looking for you can give it to them. That makes it easier than shooting fish in a barrel. It does not matter how many people are looking for a certain product or service if the people who are looking are very emotional. People who are emotional about a subject a predisposed to accepting anything you say and will be very willing to buy your product or service.
It is very important that you are empathetic to the readers. Do not try to sell them directly. Instead use a soft sell technique and tell them about how used the product or service and what outcomes you saw. People like real world examples. When you offer your story they can see themselves through you.
Another great place to find niche ideas is in the magazine racks at your local getitallhere store. You can find out what it is people are interested in. The magazines have spent a heckuva lot of money on research. If it is in the magazine you can bet there are people wanting to learn more. You simple have to be the middle man and give them what they want.
There is no real secret to finding profitable niche ideas. The main thing is do not go for the broad topics like gardening. Instead you might go for a niche like window box garden or city rooftop gardens. Just about any broad niche has several profitable sub-niches that nobody is promoting. The ways you can monetize these micro-niches is endless as well.
When looking for a niche just ask yourself what topics do you like or what topics would you like to learn. Diving into a niche that is unfamiliar to you will be both educational and fun. The best part is it could make you some great extra cash in the process. I hope you found this article to be helpful to you in your search for niche ideas.
I like the msn trick, find a great niche that is popular in main stream media. Not a niche with to much competition but a niche that has all the advertising done for you. Once you find it, pick that domain name and roll with it. This trick can pull in some good income for a few months and have a nice payday waiting on flippa when you are done with it. However the true niches that are easy to work for are those closest to your heart. Nice article, Thanks
It is definitly easier to promote niches you like and know. But that shouldn't deter you from broadening your horizens. It is a great way to increase what you know. On a side note where do fight fire. My fulltime job is a Captain on a type 4 for the FS in Colorado.
Good article, key word search and niches, find what you enjoy and run with it.
I find it a lot more fun and entertaining to research a niche I find fun or educational. Thanks for the comment.
