To ensure that your affiliate marketing website is found by the maximum number of visitors, you'll want to write unique content to be posted on websites that you don't own as well. In doing so, you're tapping into audiences that you may not otherwise have reached through your onsite efforts, and you can be sure that if they like what you have to say, they'll come and visit your site too. Article directories, forums and other people's blogs are great places to share your views and your content, but be sure to include links back to your site so that they can find you!

One highly effective way to get more traffic to your affiliate marketing website is through paid advertising. If you don't want to spend money on ongoing search engine advertising, you can still get more traffic by paying a one off fee to buy a solo mailing from the big email subscriber lists that are highly relevant to the products you are promoting. Let's say you pay $100 for a one off mailing to a 5,000 subscriber mailing list, and you send them to your landing page promoting a product that pays you $20. You only need to make 5 sales to break even, and chances are that if you nail your email and landing page copy, you'll make a lot more!
