Affiliate Marketing is probably the fastest way to start earning money online. You do not need any investment to get started and you can begin any time you want.

There are thousands of affiliate programs available for any one to sign up. Typically you will be asked to give your real name, an email address and choose a payment method (all for tax purposes). You will receive some promotional materials banners, photos etc. but most importantly you will receive your affiliate link. Once you agree to the contract, usually prepared by the business whose product you want to sell, you become an affiliate and the party whose products you are promoting becomes a vendor.

The idea is very simple. You place your affiliate links wherever you think someone might want to click them and every time a sale is made to a person who got to the product using your affiliate link you are paid a commission. What you need to do is to connect a consumer with a product.

When I first got into affiliate marketing I've joined a forum about how to become full-time affiliate marketer. It was brilliant but an interesting thing is, I got in touch with a woman who also joined on the same day. The forum had a whole training section with it and we both started reading it. She was interested in music and immediately thought about promoting a music related product. She placed her affiliate link on a music forum and made her first sale with in an hour. I think she made something like $10 or $15 but it was just her first hour. Can you imagine?

I know $10 is not a lot but if you can make that within your firs hour just think of how much you can accomplish. Affiliate marketing is more like a business than a regular job. Sure you have to work but once you place your links in the right spot, they'll keep bringing you money for a long time with no extra effort. In this time you can build new campaigns and the earnings will add.

Later on as you dig deeper into it you might want to use some paid tools, get coaching or join a training program but for now it is free to start.
