Niche marketing is the latest fad in the internet world. With a lot of attention focused on niches, it is difficult to find your niche marketing product or service.Niche marketing is an uphill task and battle. since this topic is vast and every one has his/her opinion about what is a niche and what is not, I will give you my take into a lucrative market and also my ideas to find these markets and make your mark in selling products and services of these niche markets.
Research: Find a market that has your interest. Since you already know about this sector you do not have to do a lot of research. So say you like body care.
Look at which part of the body will you like to focus on. If you say the face then find out the topic or condition that affects the face.You may target Acne since most people want a flawless complexion.
The next stage is look at the products that are on the market for this condition. You will find millions of products, this is when you separate the men from the boys.People are not looking for harsh chemicals rather gentle and all natural products.
Next stage is to see what is good for the skin and the first thing that comes to my mind is Aloe Vera. Now we search for a product for curing acne, which is all natural containing Aloe Vera. .
Once you have narrowed the product down, check the company out to see their reputation, sales policies, returns, and history on the product and if they have any testimonials.You do not want a product that has been flogged a lot, it defeats the purpose.
Find a stable company and not a fly by night or else you will do all the advertising and promotion and the company is have disappeared in thin air.
Find A Unique Product: Ask the company if there are any new products that they will be releasing to the public and when they plan to do so. What market are they targeting. What are their market stats. What I mean is market segmentation. You can find the statistics if you do a little digging and spend some time researching. Find out if this product will be compatible with your customer base. Segment your market.
Niche Market: I would like to give you an example. A friend of mine was trying to sell a product to the aging population. So how did he do his research? He found out seniors came to certain locations every month so met with them and got their opinion, he also targeted different locations for the same purpose.
He complied this information and after assessment he decided to sell his product to this target market. So in his case he found his niche product and segment. This is solely because of his research. The cherry on the cake was he had found his buyers now he had to close the sale by introducing his website to them.
Incentives: Find out if there are any incentives to market the product. Incentives are great as they help in your income and as the company is eager to come to market with the product/service they will help you be successful.
Marketing: After you have done your research, found the product to sell, decided on the market you will be selling the product or service to, then comes marketing. Marketing is made easy by some companies as they give you free samples as well as they have all the advertising material and this helps a great deal when you are setting up shop.
Sales: You can have the best product that is there in your niche but without sales you are dead in the water. Sales are your life blood the reason you started your the business, so concentrate on sales and form business relationships with customers and other affiliates to sell your products. So the idea is Sell, sell sell. and then you will make money and be successful. Selling my friends is the name of the game.
