Ever wondered why you are not able to get what you want, why some people are rich and some poor, why some are on spree of success whereas some failed to achieve even single desires of theirs. Today I am going to talk about positive self-talk. This is called positive affirmations. Many famous authors have talked about this secret and many have proved its significance. What is positive self-talk?
In my previous article I said that what self-image we hold defines our future .A positive talk is something we say to ourselves continuously on a daily basis as if it were true. If we want more money we say "I have lots of money, money comes to me easily, and I can create money”. As we continuously keep of reminding our mind of this our mind gradually starts to find means and ways to achieve what we want. In other words the universe starts to change itself in order to align itself with our thoughts. It may sound ridiculous to those who never had money to just keep imagining that they are having money. But believe me my friend this is how the mind works. Whatever message we convey to our minds it acts accordingly.
Moreover it’s not just sufficient to keep on repeating what you want. You really need to mix emotions with it. Thoughts mixed with emotions can bring you the success you have never imagined. Some simple tips I would like to share is to write down on a piece of paper what you really want. Read it aloud when you go to sleep and after you wake up. Put it on your mirror, your dashboard. Just think that you are already having the life you want.
Once you start doing what is described above the next step is action. Now one may say what’s the use of taking action when he knows that he doesn’t have resources like money time etc. to put his thoughts into action .My friend just forget about money and time. Just think can be the first small step which can move you closer to your goal. Forget about any other obstacles. Just figure out what is the first step. If mountaineers before they start to climb think that they cannot reach the peak because the weather is rough or it might become rough in near future then till now no one would have conquered any mountain peak. They start taking the first step and slowly by slowly they overcome all hindrances and reach the peak. In a nutshell I would like to say that
1. Write down what you want to achieve in the form of affirmations and in present tense.
2. Repeat these affirmations in your mind every day at least thrice a day.
3. Mix emotions while you read your affirmations to your mind.
4. Last and most important start taking those small steps which will lead you closer to your goal keeping apart the limitations such as money and time.
