If We Have to Get A Warrantwe’re Gonna Shoot And Kill Your Dogs

Police shooting dogs has become a nationwide epidemic over the years. With every little bark, snip and unsure movement, there is a murdered dog done at the hands of a perpetually corrupt police force. Some people will dismiss this as exaggeration or "conspiracy theory" but it's simply not the case. Publicly paid police are becoming increasingly scared of the people they are paid to serve and protect. Their fingers are becoming itchier. Police in the United States have killed more 5,000 innocent people since 9/11. That's more murders than soldiers have died in Iraq in the same time frame. Dog murders, are a much higher epidemic than that of human innocents and has become so common, it is practically immeasurable. A recent article came out of Fox News Kansas City about a particular case of police abuse which explained the following story.

With a loud and alarming knock at his door Eric Crinnian, a lawyer, grabbed his crow-bar, with the worry of a recent robbery in the neighborhood, went to the door to find three police officers. When he started to open the door one of the officers grabbed his gun and tells him to put down whatever he has. This sotry is already showing signs of oversensitivity. Cops will react to anything, remote controls, wallets, these things have resulted in deaths before. With no other signs of agression, just cops worried about some unknown object. They shoot first, think later.

The police officers continued and asked about two guys who had violated their parole. Of course, they didn't actually explain this, the just wanted to know where two individuals were. Being honest, Crinnian simply said he had no idea what they were talking about and that he had never heard of the two people before. Unsatisfied, the police wanted to search his home. Why? Because they've got nothing better to do than waste people's time and stolen tax dollars. With no care about solving actual issues, they want to follow every meaningless lead, no matter how redundant and intrusive into the lives of innocents it is. Crinnian refused the searches and said that they would need a warrant.

The response to this refusal was that if the police had to get a warrant, they would come back when Crinnian wasn't expecting it, bust down his door, shoot and kills his dogs and ransack his house. (Using those exact words.) This is the result of publicly paid police as opposed to private police. Private police, whose prices become much lower with competition and a lack of a public monopoly, must actually appeal to the customer and do their jobs for fear of losing support, and losing money. Public police, paid for by stolen money (ie. taxes) have no concern of these things because at the end of the day, no matter what they do, they'll still be in businesses. If you get lucky, one might get fired for doing wrong, but does that mean real change? Of course not, because this is an institutional problem, not one with any particular individuals.

These police, who are trained to shoot anything that threatens them in the least bet, told a resident that if they had to get a warrant, they were going to shoot the dogs. A direct and blatant threat of violence. Kansas law does include pets as part of the family and does punish said kinds of threats. But wait, it doesn't stop there. Because police are so often considered to be immune to the law, police officers are explicitly exempt from those kinds of things and able to throw around all the threats they want.

I think you know my opinion on this matter, what about yours? Do you think this is justified? Tell me why below. And don't forget to check out AnCapUs to more topics and more discussion.
