The great thing about this being an election year is all the water cooler topics that keep everyone engaged in talking about politics. Political junkies love to banter back and forth. My conservative husband has a way with words and it's time to break out the big guns.
His top three presidential picks has found my hubby sleeping with the dogs. So if you really want to know what political Halloween costumes to wear to the party this year, you need to check out what's topping my list.
- The Zombie Reagan mask has some potential.
- Now the George H. W. Dead mask has started a trend.
- The Richard Zombie Mask seals the deal
So let's see now! I have noticed something interesting. The republican masks of Presidents seem to revolve around death. Mitt Romney hasn't been or never will be president so therefore no zombie or death mask needed.
The Ronald Reagan Zombie mask
To some, Ronald Reagan was the best President of the United States, ever! I say the Zombie mask says it all. He faded to Alzheimer's in the end and I think Nancy Reagan made a much better President. If I were you I would rather go as Nancy Reagan to a Halloween Political party! But seeings how the mask signifies the living dead, I say this one gets a solid 8 for creative design.
George H. W. Dead Mask
Take a quick moment and think of something good that George Bush actually got done. Let's review. He sent our troops into harms way thinking that the United States is some sort of World Police. He also spent money like it grows on trees! Money going to troops overseas when there are hungry and ill folks here at home to take care of.
The Dead mask fits my thinking of George H. W. Bush like a hand in the glove! My husband thinks that President Bush was a very good president, and I can't imagine why!
Richard Zombie Mask
Now this mask takes the cake for me! Tricky Dick is still getting mileage out of that SCHNOZ of his! Those famous words of his still ring in my ears! "I am NOT a crook!", President Nixon said. I think it is hilarious that his mask has a Pinocchio-like nose! I wonder how many people believed him when he told the american people that one? Apparently the maker of the mask didn't think he was telling the truth!
Just some political thoughts from an ole cowboy's wife. Have a Happy Halloween!
Yup, yup and you ought to check out the barackula mask! It's what I'm wearing this year for the Political Halloween party I'm going to!
Fantastic! You go Mck! This article was hilarious and sad at the same time. I really like your articles.
Thanks, Lewis! It's a charged subject, politics! Everyone has an opinion and sometimes can get out of hand. My wife and I do have different views but we have fun with it! Halloween is a great time to do just that! I think a truce is in the works, though!
