On any given business day, if someone walks into a bank to conduct business and do not possess any money or capital, they will be immediately escorted out and labeled a bum or vagrant. A bank is about money and if you fail to have any, it would behoove you to stay away. Otherwise, you may be arrested for being a possible bank robber. Simply put, if you fail to possess huge amounts of wealth, you become a threat to those who have wealth.
If you have a desire to take your family on a vacation to Paris and do not possess the necessary funds, it would behoove you to stay away from the airport. Otherwise, you may be perceived to be a terrorist and subsequently arrested. Identify a venue or scenario wherein large amounts of money are required and you are welcomed if you do not have any. Now a day, you cannot even go to church without money.
My fellow Americans, what I am about to say will be interrupted as me being jealous or envious of the wealthy. If you believe that is the case in this matter, nothing could be further from the truth.
From all the information and data I have gleaned, approximately 1% of our population controls most of the wealth in this country. Observing present trends, that 1% is doing everything in their power to ensure the middle and poor class is left with nothing. For example, reduce taxes for the wealthy and reduce benefits for the middle and poor class. It should not take rocket science to conclude that if every aspect of our society is in a reduce mode, it will be impossible for our country to thrive.
I have heard the argument wherein we are led to believe the poor are just lazy and want something for nothing. In come cases, I must agree with that assessment. However, many among us are brain washed into believing that concept by the wealthy. If you believe that, answer this question. If you have a grown son or daughter who lives with you, is unemployed due to the job shortage and keeps a dirty room, would you burn down the house just to prove a point to him/her?
Most every nation in this world is challenged by some financial situation, is it correct to conclude that they are all just lazy. If this country is to survive, our mindset must be adjusted.
The main thrust of this article is to alert everyone to the fact that we are on the verge of losing our country as we know it. We are becoming just two entities; the rich and the poor. The data clearly shows the wealthy is becoming richer while the middle class and the are becoming poorer.
To prove my point, look no further than the impending presidential election. It is estimated that several billion dollars will be spent to elect a president. Think of that for a moment and review the first paragraph in this article. Sure, the United State Supreme Court has ruled an individual can contribute any amount of money they want to support their favorite candidate without identifying himself or herself or how much they spend. By the way, which opens the gates for our elections to be manipulated or influenced by foreign entities.
Back to my first paragraph. If you do not possess any money or wealth to compete with the huge amounts of money being donated. Where do you think you stand in the big scheme of things? Look at it this way. If you purchase an item with your hard earned money, you want it to work for your benefit. With the wealthy donating/giving all this money, do you think they are doing this to benefit the middle and poor class?
We have all heard the saying that money talks. This election is a clear example of that. Unfortunately, if you have no money, you have no voice. Does it have to be that way? No, because the middle and poor class greatly out number the wealthy.
However, I am sad to say that we will continue to buy into the talking points of the wealthy. After all, they own most of the media and newspaper outlets and will continue to feed us with their bull. The saddest part is the fact that many among us will believe it just because the television told us so. Many will continue to support their own demise by voting against their own interest.
I just wish I could make an appointment to speak with the lobbyist for the middle and poor class.
There must be some rich lobbyist that wants to make points in heaven by being a lobbyist for free for the poor, elderly, middle class and disabled! Or maybe a coalition of spiritual leaders? Someone has to care. The Middle Class is too big to fail. Hasn't anyone figured that out? (Who will the bank charge fees to? Who will the tea party have to tell their Grim Tales too? Who will pay the taxes?)
