Why Take God Out Of This Country?

Let's explore a few things here. First, what is the relationship between God, government and man.

The Democracy Solution.

Our Founding Fathers established the relationship quite clearly between God, man and government. The Declaration of Independence tells us there are three God-given rights and that these rights are ours because we were born. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are ours given to us by God.

In these United States of America, the relationship can be denoted by the following list:

  1. God
  2. man
  3. government

Notice what comes first! God is first. He gives us these rights. The right to live, the right to be free, and the right to pursue happiness.

Also notice that government is listed after man. Why is this? And what role does the government play in our rights and our freedoms?

The main reason for the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution was and still is this:

Establish a Government that Protects our God-given Rights and Freedoms

That is the extent to which our government's power should extend. Unfortunately, government powers extend far into our personal lives.

A simple comparison to communism here will help to drive this point home. Let's look at the relationship between God, man and government under a communist rule. Check out the list:

  1. Government
  2. man

That's the list. Oh wait but where is God? Exactly my point here. Notice that government is above man on this list. A communist government controls every aspect of a man's life. The reason that God is not on this list is simple. If man learns of his God-given rights and freedoms, then that knowledge becomes a threat to the government's power over man.

To insure that man continues to live within the bounds of communism, a communist country must not allow God to be a part. I think we have seen some spectacular wars and uprisings having to do with this very thing. Man is meant to have his God-given rights and freedoms.

What has happened over the past 50 years here in this country? The government has step by step taken God from the list above. Once God is removed, then freedoms and rights can be taken away, without much upheaval or even notice by the people living in this country.

Want to continue to enjoy our God-given rights and freedoms? Knowing the above relationships is a great start. Keep God first on the list, then man, and have government to be the protector of these rights and freedoms.

There you have it. An ole cowboy's opinion on God, man and government.

What's next? Apparently I am not at liberty to voice my opinions on the next logical relationship. Yup, I have something to say about that too! Stay tuned.

I plan to, however I tried to put the phrase 'separation of church and state', and got rejected because of religion. Guess SA doesn't allow anything to do with church. May have to find a different forum for such a controversial subject! LOL I still have to try my hand at relationship subjects! LOL

Whoops! Hmm. Did not realize that. Where does it say that??

Got a reject saying that religious articles are no longer accepted at SA. I didn't read the regulations..LOL I just write! The only thing I took out was the 'separation of church and state'. so I am guessing I can't even mention the word church or religion...Guess I need to contact the peeps that reject my article but I have no idea how to do that.

Another great article Mck....Yes i agree again. And if you perhaps have seen one of the ancient alien sequence is about how much God there is in even the way they built the buildings of our government in Washington. They seem to have been into the relationship of God and the stars too and built on mathematical formulas and different symbols relating to space and maybe God is above the aliens who came here and inserted our ability to think and talk into our DNA becoming the Adam and Eve...pretty deep stuff that one segment on ancient aliens but good.....They were making the point that the other animals did not evolve into a new species like us from a hominid.,.the giraffes are still giraffes etc...interesting point....great writing again Mck

Thanks for that! I enjoy the feedback. Even the symbols used on our money, too! It's all very interesting to think about, isn't it! Thanks so much.

There are many who believe that "we" are God, in that the God force lives in us and is part of us. In this sense, we're not separate from God, but partake of His nature, just like a child partakes of his parents' nature. Religions tell us that God is a Being of ultimate Wisdom, Power, and Love, even Judgement, and is apart from us. So the question to ask is "where" is God? In us or outside of us? No matter how you perceive God, government is definitely not God, therefore the lowest rung on the ladder and it exists only to serve the country. It's power comes from its citizens. Individuals within government are bound by the same rules as we, and have the same rights as we do. Our taxes pay their salaries, taxes pay for our infrastructure, wars, foreign aid, and all that interest that's paid to the Federal Reserve. The bullies on the block twist and corrupt in order to control. Time to wake up to reality.

Great point! I had much more in the article, but apparently it was too "religious" for Street Articles. I believe we are children of God. And He lives apart from us. Apparently religion is something not wanted here at Street Articles. I wonder why..... Thanks for the insight, I love it!

I believe you are spot on with this article. The big problem is people have become complacent and depend on the government for far to much. thanks for sharing your thoughts Pin'd
