How To Be Tall – Learn About Getting Taller

If you’re here then you probably want to find out how to be tall. Research focusing on how to be tall suggests that one of the most important elements affecting the eventual height of a person is genetics. This means that your parent’s genes, and those of your grandparents, are what determine your maximum potential related to how to be tall. So if your parents are 4 feet tall, don’t expect to grow up to 6 feet, although if the parents’ height is very different from that of the grandparents then the latter’s genes must be factored in as well. Ancestral genes play a very large role in determining how much you can grow.

Reaching that actual maximum growth potential is affected by other elements aside from genetics. Important elements that affect growth include environmental factors like nutrition, exercise, and health during childhood years. Consuming enough amounts of calcium and protein during young age is detrimental in providing the building blocks for the growth of bones and muscles. Another element that aids in how to be tall is exercise as long as injury to critical body components like bones and joints is avoided.

Next is the role of human growth hormone, or HGH, in how to be tall. HGH is produced by the pituitary gland in the body and is what makes you grow bigger and taller as you get older. Maximizing the natural production of HGH in the body is a very important method in how to be tall, and can be achieved by eating the right foods rich in protein, vitamins and minerals, in addition to high intensity resistance training (weight lifting) which has been known to increase levels of HGH in the body. Higher levels of HGH have been proven to increase overall growth and assist in how to be tall.

HGH production can also be negatively affected by harmful environmental chemicals. Things like second-hand smoke, industrial chemicals of all types, and drugs are, among other things, definitely not things that aid in how to be tall. These chemicals interfere with the function of the bodily glands and can disturb the production of HGH in the body. One of the best aids in how to be tall and reaching full height potential is keeping all the bodily systems functioning properly.

Even though sources suggest that growing at all after adolescence is not possible, there are some who have experienced successes in growing taller well into their adulthood through ways that are based in common scientific knowledge about how to be tall and human growth in general. These methods are typically natural and involve using natural supplementation along with certain exercises to increase the levels of HGH in the body in order to aid it in how to be tall.
