What is multiple sclerosis? MS occurs when the body’s own defense system attacks myelin. Myelin is a film that surrounds and protects the nerve endings in the central nervous system and when the myelin is attacked the nerve endings themselves can also be destroyed.
The damaged myelin forms scar tissue also known as lesions which is called sclerosis. When any part of the myelin covering or nerve fiber is damaged or destroyed nerve impulses traveling to and from each other get distorted or interrupted and can produce a variety of symptoms.
Myelin is a fatty, axon-enwrapping sheath that serves to speed up neural conduction. A nerve fiber that transmits the nerve impulse is similar to a beam of light; and the myelin cover is like the plastic tube surrounding and protecting the signal from any disturbance.
The myelin that is affected from multiple sclerosis is mainly concentrated to the central nervous system. The central nervous system is the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. It is made up of several different components:
- Gray matter
- White matter
- Supporting cells
Symptoms of ms develop differently. Yet the early warning signs are quite similar, like tremors, Fatigue, Vision problems and Thinking or memory problems are often early signs of MS.
Ok now that we got the broad picture of what MS and ms symptoms are, let’s break down the facts and find the cure. Multiple sclerosis is just a symptom of a bigger problem which is autoimmune disease.
Since this problem is fairly slow in doing its damage people just deal with it and the health industry tell people there is little to be done for it but that is not true. If you try and just attack the symptom results are not going to be promising.
The root of the problem can be attacked which is autoimmune disease. There is a cure for this disorder but the health industry and pharmaceutical companies do not want you to know the truth because 85% of their revenue comes from people stricken with autoimmune disease.
In the world today 23.5 million people suffer from one form or another of autoimmune disease symptoms. That’s a lot of people coming back to the doctors to get help for their pain and a lot of prescriptions being written. Now let’s get down to the cure.
How is it possible? Let’s look at the immune system in our bodies as two parts. It is kind of like two immune systems. One system we were born with and the other is evolving every day due to our environment and what we ingest or inhale and what viruses we catch.
Autoimmune disease is caused from an imbalanced immune system not an over active system. The two systems have poor communication at best and at times fighting against themselves. The immune system responds to threats by releasing the following:
- phagocytic cells (neutrophils, monocytes, and macrophages);
- cells that release inflammatory mediators(basophils, mast cells, and eosinophil’s);
- natural killer cells (NK cells); and
- Molecules such as complement proteins, acute phase proteins, and cytokines.
With inflammation high in the body it becomes destructive to sensitive operations like eating away myelin which destroys the effectiveness of the nerve and causing function issues.
People have been told for decades that when the brain or nervous system sustains damage it is gone forever. Those statements are false and ignorant. Our bodies are brilliant in every sense. They are made to repair and rejuvenate themselves.
Sometimes the process gets mixed up like the immune systems communication but that’s ok because there is support out there to naturally help our bodies do what it does best.
You cannot get that support from pharmaceuticals. Taking pharmaceuticals for long periods of time irritate body functions and organs. The body thrives on natural supplements that help promote its natural functions and abilities.
It does not thrive from lab created drugs that try and take over its job. You can reduce your inflammation and be out of pain within a day and be cured within months. You can also repair and rejuvenate damaged nerves to regain more function and abilities.
